}Which option is best for your SEO
Worth being straight about, because it is the reason most publishers ask. If your CMS can consume the RSS or JSON feed and write the links into your own page template server-side, do that. Those links are present in the HTML you serve, and search engines treat them accordingly.
The embed widget writes its links with JavaScript after the page loads. It is far easier to install and it sends you real readers, but client-side links are not weighted as dependably. We would rather tell you that than let you assume otherwise.
Terms
- Republish the headline and summary we provide. Please do not reproduce article bodies.
- Credit Oquilia and link to the article URL in the payload.
- Do not edit the summary of any item marked
protected: true. See below. - Commercial use is fine. There is no fee and no invoice.
We ask for attribution as ordinary editorial courtesy. We do not require a followed link, and nothing here is conditional on the kind of link you use — make that call however your own policy says you should.
Enforcement coverage: read this before republishing
Our enforcement reporting names companies and individuals, and it does so because they appear in an order or complaint published by a regulator or investigating agency. On our own pages every such article carries a right-of-reply block and a line stating that filing a complaint is not a finding.
Syndication strips the article body, and with it that protection. A bare enforcement headline on your site is the same words with none of the context that makes them safe to publish — and the exposure would be yours, not only ours.
So the notice is inside the summary field you receive, not in a terms document we hope you read. Render our summary as supplied and you have published it. That is the only condition here we would ask you to treat as firm.
Corrections
If we correct an article, the summary in the feed changes at the next refresh. Our public corrections log is at /corrections. Queries: editor@oquilia.com.
