Zen Technologies reported consolidated revenue of Rs 345.13 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2026 (Q2 FY27), up 98.8% from Rs 173.57 crore in the same quarter a year earlier, according to a press release the company filed with the National Stock Exchange on 1 November 2026. Net profit, shown in the release as profit after tax adjusted for non-controlling interest, rose 50.7% to Rs 89.54 crore from Rs 59.40 crore. The figures are unaudited.

What Happened

In the company's filing with the National Stock Exchange, Zen Technologies gave consolidated figures for the second quarter of 2026-27. Revenue, which the release reports as sales, was Rs 345.13 crore. That is 143.7% higher than the Rs 141.64 crore reported for the previous quarter (Q1 FY27). The company described it as its highest-ever consolidated quarterly revenue.

Net profit of Rs 89.54 crore compares with Rs 34.46 crore in the previous quarter, a rise of 159.8%.

The release gives operational EBITDA, a measure of operating earnings, of Rs 131.99 crore for the quarter. The company put the operational EBITDA margin at 38.2%, against 37.3% a year earlier and 27.3% in the previous quarter. Other income was Rs 16.71 crore, compared with Rs 25.31 crore a year earlier.

For the half year ended 30 September 2026 (H1 FY27), consolidated revenue was Rs 486.77 crore, up 46.7% from Rs 331.79 crore a year earlier. Net profit for the half year was Rs 124.00 crore, up 15.7% from Rs 107.15 crore.

The company also said order inflow during the quarter was Rs 481.81 crore, taking its consolidated order book to Rs 1,375.70 crore as at 30 September 2026. It said it has begun delivering the Fast Track Procurement orders it received last year.

What It Means

The release is the company's own summary of unaudited results, not a regulator's finding. It does not give earnings per share or announce a dividend, so those are not reported here.

The jump in profit was smaller than the jump in revenue. Net profit rose 50.7% on the year while revenue rose 98.8%, which the release's own table shows alongside a fall in other income over the same period.

The order book figure is the company's disclosure and is not an audited number. Readers who hold or follow the company's shares can read the full filing on the National Stock Exchange's website.
