Marico Limited's consolidated net profit attributable to owners rose 31% to Rs 550 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2026, from Rs 420 crore a year earlier, according to the company's filing with the National Stock Exchange. Revenue from operations rose 13% to Rs 3,897 crore from Rs 3,450 crore. The board approved the un-audited results on 2 November 2026.

What Happened

The figures below come from the consolidated results, which cover Marico and its subsidiaries.

Against the June 2026 quarter, revenue from operations fell 1.5% from Rs 3,957 crore, and net profit attributable to owners fell 12.7% from Rs 630 crore. Total net profit for the quarter, including the share of non-controlling interests in subsidiaries, was Rs 558 crore against Rs 432 crore a year earlier, a rise of 29.2%.

Advertisement and sales promotion spending was Rs 451 crore in the quarter, against Rs 313 crore a year earlier. Basic earnings per share were Rs 4.24, against Rs 3.24 a year earlier.

For the half year to 30 September 2026, revenue from operations rose 17.7% to Rs 7,854 crore from Rs 6,671 crore, and net profit attributable to owners rose 27.7% to Rs 1,180 crore from Rs 924 crore.

The filing marks the revenue and advertisement figures as restated. The company's notes say it now nets certain customer-related promotional expenses off revenue instead of counting them as advertisement spending, and has applied this to the earlier periods; it says the change does not affect profit or earnings per share.

What It Means

For shareholders, the filing shows profit growing faster than revenue over the year, though both fell from the June quarter. The statutory auditors, B S R & Co. LLP, issued a limited review report, which is a review and not a full audit.

The notes also record that on 5 October 2026, after the quarter ended, the company entered into agreements to acquire a 38.18% stake in Satiya Nutraceuticals Private Limited in tranches. As part of that it acquired 24.09%, and the standalone notes say its holding now stands at 84.09% on a fully diluted basis; the remaining 14.09% is due in July 2027, subject to the agreements' terms.
