Standalone revenue from operations was Rs 45,924 crore. The filing is a revised press release dated 2 November 2026, on results the company announced on 30 October 2026.

What Happened

According to the company's filing with the National Stock Exchange, standalone profit after tax (PAT) was Rs 4,650 crore in Q2 FY27, against Rs 4,292 crore in Q1 FY27. That is a rise of 8.3% from the previous quarter.

Standalone revenue from operations stood at Rs 45,924 crore in Q2 FY27, against Rs 38,981 crore in Q1 FY27, a rise of 17.8%. Profit before tax (PBT) was Rs 5,838 crore, against Rs 5,773 crore in the previous quarter, a rise of 1.1%. The filing does not give figures for the same quarter a year earlier.

For the first half of the year, April to September 2026, the company reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 84,905 crore, against Rs 69,824 crore a year earlier, a rise of 21.6%. Standalone PBT for the half-year was Rs 11,611 crore, against Rs 5,357 crore, and PAT was Rs 8,943 crore, against Rs 4,104 crore.

On a consolidated basis, which combines the company's subsidiaries and other group entities, the filing gives half-year figures only. Revenue from operations was Rs 88,651 crore, against Rs 71,086 crore in the first half of 2025-26. PBT was Rs 12,368 crore, against Rs 5,594 crore. PAT excluding minority interest was Rs 9,385 crore, against Rs 4,342 crore.

The company said capital expenditure in the first half was Rs 7,600 crore, including Rs 1,425 crore in Q2 FY27, against an annual planned capital expenditure of about Rs 12,900 crore. It said the quarter reflected resilience in transmission and natural gas marketing performance, and that it saw robust volumes across all major segments despite geopolitical headwinds.

Operational figures for Q2 FY27 against Q1 FY27, as the filing gives them: natural gas transmission 130.10 MMSCMD against 122.36 MMSCMD; gas marketing volume 97.23 MMSCMD against 93.82 MMSCMD; LHC production 256 TMT against 232 TMT; polymer production 204 TMT against 51 TMT; and LPG transmission 1,130 TMT against 1,077 TMT.

What It Means

The filing lets a reader compare the latest quarter with the one before it, and the first half of this year with the first half of last year. It does not give the Q2 figures for last year, so a year-on-year comparison for the quarter cannot be made from this document.
