Carysil Limited said in a filing with the National Stock Exchange that its Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer has resigned from both positions. According to the filing, he sent his resignation by email on 4 November 2026, and it takes effect at the close of business hours on 16 November 2026.
What Happened
The company disclosed the resignation after a board meeting held on 4 November 2026, at which the board took note of it. The same meeting approved the company's unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2026.
The filing gives this reason for the resignation: "As the Company embarks on its next phase of growth under Carysil 2.0, the Company requires its leadership team to be around the Chairman at the Company's headquarters at Bhavnagar." It adds: "Due to personal reasons," the officer "is unable to relocate to the Company's headquarters as required by the Company and has accordingly resigned."
Carysil said the officer has confirmed that there are no other material reasons for his resignation apart from those in his resignation email. The company will make a further intimation to the stock exchanges when the resignation takes effect, and will then submit a copy of the resignation email with the detailed reasons.
The filing describes the post as a key managerial personnel position. It does not name a successor, and the filing contains no information on who will take over the finance function.
The company also said the trading window for designated persons under its insider trading code will reopen on Saturday, 7 November 2026.
What It Means
A chief financial officer's exit is a change in the person who signs off a company's accounts, so exchange rules require it to be disclosed. The filing reports the resignation as a decision linked to relocation and personal reasons. It does not say the officer left over any dispute, and nothing in the filing alleges any wrongdoing.
The company says it will file the resignation email with the exchanges once the resignation takes effect on 16 November 2026. Shareholders can read the full filing on the National Stock Exchange's website. Complaints against listed companies can be made at https://scores.sebi.gov.in.
