  3. Dhanwalle

Last updated 29 July 2026. Quoted pages read on 29 July 2026.

Dhanwalle's own calculator implies 30% a year. Its Key Facts Statement states 1.00% a day.

Dhanwalle is a brand operated by Vanshika Micro Credit, CIN U65999UP2016NPL084907. Its homepage states "APR: 15% - 35%". Its Terms and Conditions state "APR (200 to 365%)". Its Key Facts Statement states 365.00, at 1.00% per day. All three were live on 29 July 2026. Below is what each of its own documents says, and where to complain.

Is Dhanwalle safe, genuine or legit?

Vanshika Micro Credit operates the Dhanwalle brand. The company was incorporated on 15 July 2016 and its CIN is U65999UP2016NPL084907. Whether Dhanwalle is safe is a decision for each borrower. The record: Dhanwalle's APR is published as three different figures on its own pages, and its Key Facts Statement records consent to physical visits to a borrower's workplace and residence.

The three APR figures are set out in full below, each with the page it came from and the date it was read. The workplace-and-residence line is quoted in full in the verbatim block further down.

Is Dhanwalle RBI registered?

Dhanwalle's own pages describe the company in two different ways. Its Fair Practice Code states: "Vanshika Micro Credit is a non-deposit taking Non-Banking Finance Company." Its Privacy Policy states: "The Company is a Section 8, non-profit, non-deposit taking entity and is exempted from the provisions of Chapter III-B, 1934." Both were live on 29 July 2026. This page does not resolve which is correct and makes no statement about whether Vanshika Micro Credit is or is not registered. Search the Reserve Bank of India's own published list for the company name, not the brand name.

These statements describe the company in different terms. Section 45-IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 requires a non-banking financial company to hold a certificate of registration from the Reserve Bank. Certain not-for-profit companies engaged in micro-finance have been exempted from that requirement by notification, and Dhanwalle's own privacy policy claims an exemption. Absence from a public list does not by itself mean a company is operating unlawfully. Whether any registration requirement or exemption applies to Vanshika Micro Credit is a question for the Reserve Bank of India, and this page makes no finding either way.

How to check for yourself: the Reserve Bank of India publishes its own list of registered NBFCs and a separate list of companies whose certificate of registration has been cancelled. Search that list for the operating company's name — Vanshika Micro Credit — and not for the app brand, because the brand name will not appear on the Reserve Bank's list or on the register of companies. If a company describes itself to you as an NBFC, ask it in writing for its certificate of registration number, and check that number against the Reserve Bank's own list.

The Reserve Bank of India publishes its own list of registered NBFCs, and a separate list of companies whose certificate of registration has been cancelled, on rbi.org.in. Search those lists for the company name, Vanshika Micro Credit — not for the app brand, which will not appear on them.

The Reserve Bank of India's Sachet portal is at sachet.rbi.org.in.

Oquilia has not searched the Reserve Bank's list and makes no statement about whether Vanshika Micro Credit appears on it.

What is Dhanwalle's interest rate and APR?

Dhanwalle publishes three APR figures. Homepage: "APR: 15% - 35%". Terms and Conditions: "APR (200 to 365%)". Key Facts Statement, under one running heading: "Annual Percentage Rate - Effective Daily interest rate (in %) (Considering the ROI of 1.00% per day) 365.00" - an annual 365.00 from a stated 1.00% a day, excluding the processing fee its own Terms define APR as including. All read 29 July 2026.

A fourth figure appears on the homepage calculator. At its default settings on 29 July 2026 it read: Loan Amount: Rs. 5000 · Tenure: 7 Days · Interest Rate: 30% · Total Payable: Rs. 5028.77

This site's calculation from those four inputs: 5,000 x 0.30 x 7 / 365 = Rs. 28.77, and 5,000 + 28.77 = Rs. 5,028.77. That is consistent with simple interest at 30% PER YEAR. That is this site's reading of the calculator output on 29 July 2026, not a statement by the company.

The homepage also advertises the terms on which the brand lends: "Loan Amount: Rs. 5,000 - Rs. 1,00,000", "Tenure: 7 to 365 Days" and "Net Salary >= Rs. 40,000", all read on 29 July 2026.

Dhanwalle customer care number, complaint and grievance email

Dhanwalle's own website publishes one phone number, +91 92114 60800, and one email address, info@dhanwalle.com, both read on 29 July 2026. No other Dhanwalle customer care number circulating online comes from the company. Unresolved complaints go to the Reserve Bank of India; conduct complaints go to the national cybercrime portal.

Oquilia publishes those two contacts because they are the ones printed on the company's own website, and for no other reason. Any number that does not appear on the company's own page is not published here.

e-daakhil is the Government of India's online filing portal for consumer commissions. It is named here only so the reader knows the official channel exists.

e-daakhil is the Government of India's online filing portal for consumer commissions, reachable from the National Consumer Helpline website.

Can Dhanwalle call my office, my family or my contacts?

Dhanwalle's Key Facts Statement carries this line immediately after the APR entry: "Henceforth visiting (physically) your Workplace and Residence has your concurrence on it." Its Privacy Policy records consent to disclose personal and sensitive personal information to "branches, affiliates, service providers, agents, contractors" and third parties. Lawfulness of any contact is for the regulator and the courts.

What the app collects

The Dhanwalle privacy policy, read on 29 July 2026, states: “We collect, store and monitor only SMS sent by 6 - digit alphanumeric senders.”

Six-character alphanumeric sender IDs are the format used by Indian telecom operators for transactional messages, including one-time passwords and bank alerts. Dhanwalle's privacy policy does not state what use is made of the messages it says it collects, stores and monitors.

The same policy, read on the same date, states: “We collect and transmit a list of specific installed applications' metadata information which includes the application name, package name, installed time, updated time, version name and version code of each installed application on your device.” The same policy, read on 29 July 2026, also records the collection of device location, camera, microphone, PAN, Aadhaar, employer name, monthly salary and bank account number.

How do I file a complaint against Dhanwalle?

To complain about Dhanwalle, use the Reserve Bank of India's Sachet portal at sachet.rbi.org.in or its Complaint Management System at cms.rbi.org.in. Threats, abuse or misuse of phone data can be reported at cybercrime.gov.in or on helpline 1930. Save dated screenshots of every call, message and email first.

Agar Dhanwalle se paisa nahi aaya, ya charges kat gaye — neeche documents kya kehte hain, woh diya gaya hai.

Who owns Dhanwalle? Which company is behind it?

The company behind Dhanwalle is Vanshika Micro Credit, incorporated 15 July 2016 at RoC Kanpur, CIN U65999UP2016NPL084907. Mudraboxx is run by the same company. Neither brand is itself a registered company name. Using a brand name is common and lawful; it means any register search must use the company name, Vanshika Micro Credit.

The brand name is also typed dhanwale, dhanwaale, dhan walle, dhanwalla and dhanvalle, and searched for as dhanwaale loan app or dhanwalle apk. All of those refer to the same brand, and the operating company is Vanshika Micro Credit in every case.

Six things the public record and the company's own pages show

  1. Corporate form: Vanshika Micro Credit is a company licensed under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (MCA record consulted 29 July 2026), and its own advertising states "Net Salary >= Rs. 40,000" and "Loan Amount: Rs. 5,000 - Rs. 1,00,000" (Dhanwalle homepage, read 29 July 2026); Section 45-IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 requires an NBFC to hold a certificate of registration from the Reserve Bank, certain not-for-profit micro-finance companies have been exempted by notification, and whether any exemption applies here is a question for the Reserve Bank of India, on which this page makes no statement either way.
  2. Capital: The MCA record consulted on 29 July 2026 shows authorised and paid-up capital of Rs. 1,00,000, while the Mudraboxx homepage read on 29 July 2026 advertises loans up to "Rs. 10L"; paid-up capital is not a measure of how much a company can lend, a lender may fund from borrowings or other sources, and neither site states where the funds lent are sourced from.
  3. Addresses: The MCA record consulted on 29 July 2026 gives the registered office as Village Bakhriya, Post Mangalpur, Lohta, Varanasi, UP 221107; the Dhanwalle website, read 29 July 2026, gives a "Registered Office" of "VO-656 AT WE WORK BERGER ONE, SECTOR16B ... Noida 201301" and a "Corporate Office" at 1111 Surya Kiran Building, K.G. Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi 110001; the Dhanwalle privacy policy, read 29 July 2026, gives 520 Somdatt Chamber-II, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi 110066. The addresses are different.
  4. Brand and company name: A search of the MCA company-name index on 29 July 2026 returned no company named "Dhanwalle" or "Mudraboxx"; trading under a brand name different from the registered company name is common and lawful, and it means any register search must use the company name.
  5. Two brands: Dhanwalle and Mudraboxx are operated by the same company on the sites' own statements read 29 July 2026, and the two sites advertise different rate ranges — "APR: 15% - 35%" on the Dhanwalle homepage and "Min 6%" to "Max 36%" on the Mudraboxx homepage.
  6. Filing record: The MCA record consulted on 29 July 2026 shows the last balance sheet filed for the financial year ended 31-Mar-2023, no financial statements recorded against the company for FY2024 or FY2025, a status of "Active", and no charges registered.

Some Indian lending brands are operated by companies that appear on the Reserve Bank of India's published list of registered NBFCs. This page makes no statement about whether Vanshika Micro Credit is or is not on that list, or about whether any exemption applies to it.

Dhanwalle loan not received, or charges deducted - what the documents show

One Dhanwalle loan is documented on papers reviewed by this site: Rs. 76,000 sanctioned, a processing fee of Rs. 7,600 including 18% GST taken before disbursal, Rs. 68,400 paid out on 22 May 2026, tenure 40 days, due 1 July 2026, and Rs. 1,06,400 demanded in total.

The figures below are taken from the sanction documentation, Key Facts Statement, bank credit record and demand communication of one salaried borrower in Bengaluru, reviewed by Oquilia on 29 July 2026. They relate to a single loan. Oquilia does not say they are typical of Dhanwalle's lending generally. Vanshika Micro Credit was invited to comment on these figures on Vanshika Micro Credit is invited to respond to anything on this page. Any response it sends to the address below will be published on this page in full, with equal prominence.

Two further points about the same documents, stated as what this site looked for and did not find on 29 July 2026. The Dhanwalle privacy policy read on that date repeatedly refers to the company as "the LSP". The Interest Rate Policy read on that date uses the expression "DFTPL-PLR" and, on the pages this site read, does not set out what those letters stand for. This site did not find a definition of either expression on the site, and does not speculate about what either stands for.

These statements describe the company in different terms. This page does not resolve which is correct, and whether any registration requirement or exemption applies is a question for the Reserve Bank of India and no one else.

The Dhanwalle homepage read on 29 July 2026 also carries the lines “No hidden charges, complete transparency in every step”, “Low Interest Rates”, “Trusted & Compliant”, “Trusted by 1,00,000+ Customers”. Those are the company's own claims, quoted from the Dhanwalle homepage as read on 29 July 2026. Oquilia does not verify them and states no view on them.
